Square marks the spot: Rainbow Crosswalks at the 10th Street and Piedmont Avenue elevate Midtown Atlanta as the cultural hub of the LGBTQ life. Bustling nightlife and streets adorned with pride flags, Midtown is the starting point for most Queer visitors and locals alike. Iconic neighborhood and destination spots such as Blake’s on The Park, My Sister’s Room, and X Midtown (10) carve out space for the LGBTQ community in the growing city of Atlanta. Just outside of the Midtown bubble lay some of our personal favorite LGBTQ+ spaces:

JenChan’s – Cabbagetown, (Atlanta Eats), (Project Q)
Guac y Margys – Old Fourth Ward/Inman Park and Midtown – spend more time at the “GyM”. Best NA margarita in town and plenty of handsome folx enjoying each other!
Firepit Pizza Tavern – Grant Park – our go-to for classic pizza and Americana bar fare!
Georgia Beer Garden – Edgewood – open space, great area, lots o queers.
Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room & Ping Pong Emporium – Edgewood – check out this Edgewood landmark spot for awesome atmosphere and generally cool people. Stay active and play some pong or enjoy an easy bev by the bar.
Southern Fried Queer Pride (SFQP) is an Atlanta-based (on Muscogee & Cherokee land) organization empowering Black queer and QTPOC centered communities in the South through the arts. We love collaborating and partnering with SFQP as much as possible.
The Bakery will operate a 5,000 SF live performance venue. A platform for connection, community, and expression, this Chosewood Park location will soon be a playground for creatives in Atlanta and beyond. We hope to support artists, curators, and organizers that have a vision stretching beyond the limits of the traditional venue: a home for interdisciplinary experiences.
